Taylor is a 2022 summa cum laude honors graduate of Western Michigan University’s accelerated Social Work program.
With a passion for social justice and a MSW concentration in policy, planning and administration, Taylor worked closely with The Lewis Walker Institute for Race and Ethnic Relations and The Village at Kalamazoo Defender to provide restorative justice in areas of inequity.
She identifies as a revolutionary, using her skills and lived experience to dissipate disparities and empower impacted community members to reach their housing goals.
She currently serves as a Mitigation Specialist for Kalamazoo Defender, submitting trauma informed reports to the 9th District Court of Kalamazoo, creating transformational outcomes for clients.
She joined the Board of KHA to amplify the voices of the unheard, educate the most privileged and collaborate effective remedies to combat Kalamazoo’s housing crisis.
