Marla LeMae MSW, JD
Marla received her MSW from WMU in 2000 with a concentration in policy, planning, and administration and individual practice and a Juris Doctorate degree from Cooley Law School in 2019 with cum laude honors.
She has practiced social work for over 20 years with a lens of equity and always been a staunch advocate for access to fair housing. She currently serves as Chief Client Navigator for Kalamazoo Defender.
In her role in the Board of Kalamazoo Housing Advocates, she functions as a strong voice to lift up the struggles faced by our unhoused clients to find and maintain adequate and affordable housing.
