Originally from Colorado, Kierra graduated summa cum laude in 2020 with dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. During her studies, she became deeply aware of the systemic inequalities and barriers that prevent many people from accessing safe, stable housing.
Having personally experienced housing instability, Kierra brings both compassion and lived understanding to her work, ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their journey toward secure housing.
Motivated by a commitment to equity and justice, Kierra relocated to Kalamazoo with a strong desire to help create meaningful change. She is dedicated to showing that everyone deserves the opportunity for stability and equality.
Known for her resilience and drive, Kierra approaches her role at KHA with determination, joy, and an unwavering belief in doing what is right for clients and the broader Kalamazoo community.
