
Demi Williams
Demi Williams is currently interning with KHA through Michigan State University’s College of Social Sciences. She strives for efficiency and union within a work environment and looks forward to learning more about nonprofit work whilst at KHA.
As a Kalamazoo Public Schools graduate, Demi is passionate about Kalamazoo and is committed to further empowering her community. She is naturally drawn to social work, and takes a particular interest in the legalities behind community work, expansion, and healing.
While at Michigan State, Demi has been involved in several community Executive Boards including the Black Student’s Alliance, Michigan State’s Women’s Network, Black Girls Unite, and Curlfriends. Demi has also been awarded one of Michigan State’s Student Leader Awards, and is dedicated to any community that she is a part of.
While at KHA, Demi is developing community engagement programs as an assistant to the Executive Director.
