Kat Sharp

Kat has lived experience with housing instability and homelessness and brings that experience to Kalamazoo Housing Advocates.

Her passion comes from her experience as a member of an underserved and historically marginalized group who struggle to find stable housing because they don’t “look the part” on paper or when credit scores and background checks had to be done.

Currently she works at Recovery Institute of Southwest Michigan as a Peer Support Specialist and Recovery Coach.
