Kristin Rinehart Totten

Kristin began her career as a legal aid attorney protecting the poor from the devastating impacts of eviction and has worked for the ACLU, Kalamazoo Defender and Disability Rights Network.

She was appointed by Governor Whitmer to serve on the Children Trust Michigan Board of Directors, to protect children from abuse and neglect.

She joined the Board of KHA to address the needs of people who are at risk of becoming homeless in Kalamazoo and also serves the community by raising two humans, advocating on behalf of children, and fighting for justice in the Courts.
